Building Power
We engage in Power Building by catalyzing the individual and collective capacities of those who have been excluded and denied that power historically. Specifically, we strengthen the capacity of community members to co-design, implement, communicate, mobilize and evaluate systems change efforts that address the impacts of systemic oppression.
Community LEADERSHIP Development
Leadership development for community members, organizations, agencies, institutions and other stakeholders consists of capacity building and train-the- trainer sessions using CT’s evidence-based curriculum. Leadership Development sessions strengthen participants' knowledge, skills and abilities to address systemic inequities.
SYSTEMS CHANGE EFFORTS
Strengthen the capacity of community residents and partners to facilitate the infrastructure, which includes the processes and practices of co-design, implement, mobilize, communicate, evaluate and provide oversight of their strategic plans that address systemic oppression at full capacity.
ADVANCING POLICY CHANGES
Developing a community-led vision that informs policies and advocacy efforts that will improve the conditions of the community’s physical, social and economic well-being.
