Power Sharing
We engage in Power Sharing with community members and build and strengthen the capacity of other entities to do the same. Specifically, we work with those who hold institutional and systemic power to entrust those who have been excluded and denied that power, to collaborate to address the impacts of systemic oppression.
Shared governance
Establishing community-driven formal governance bodies, including the development of a charter that outlines bylaws, roles & responsibilities, recruitment, retention, accountability measures, etc.
Community Promoter Systems Transformation
The Community Promoter Systems Transformation Program aims to establish a highly skilled and community-centered work force that improves the social determinants of health for children, families and communities.
Community advisors
Recruitment of community members to support organizations who are seeking input, feedback, recommendations, etc. on their services, policies, practices, strategic plans, evaluation, etc.
