Welcome to the heart of our collective efforts, our community. We are deeply rooted in the vibrant and resourceful neighborhoods of East LA, Metro LA, Southeast LA, and South El Monte/El Monte. Guided by the CTC team, our mission centers on creating powerful movement-building opportunities that shift decision-making directly into the hands of the people. By cultivating a robust community co-governance structure, we bridge the gap between regional leadership and local voices—transforming how resources, advocacy, and support flow through our neighborhoods. Together, we are building a sustainable ecosystem of shared power, ensuring that every family, resident, and community partner has a defining seat at the table to shape a more equitable and just future for our regions.
Over the last seventeen years the CTC team has focused on these four regions to expand power building and power sharing models through an inclusive community engagement process. We have also worked in other parts of Greater Los Angeles, California, and our country, working as community building partners and experts with other non-profits, institutions and funders to address the needs in their communities.
